AusGrower is operated by Coolnology Pty Ltd. This page explains how to delete your AusGrower account and the data linked to it.
Delete your account from inside the app
The fastest way — right from your phone:
- Open AusGrower and go to Settings.
- Tap Manage account.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm when prompted.
Your account and data are deleted straight away.
Request deletion without the app
If you can no longer sign in or have already removed the app, email us and we'll delete your account for you:
- Email: info@coolnology.com
- Subject: Delete my AusGrower account
- Send it from the email address you used to sign up, so we can verify the request.
We'll action verified requests within 30 days (usually much sooner) and email you when it's done.
What is deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes:
- Your account and profile (email, sign-in credentials, preferences)
- Your garden — beds, plantings and grow timelines
- Journal entries and their photos
- Plant-diagnosis history and the photos you submitted
- Community posts, comments and likes
- Reminders and push-notification tokens
- Your subscription entitlement record
Photos stored in our image storage are removed by a background clean-up job within 7 days of the deletion.
What is kept, and for how long
- We keep no personally identifiable data after deletion.
- Subscription billing records are held by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play) — not by us. Deleting your AusGrower account does not cancel a subscription; manage or cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account.
- We may retain a minimal, anonymised transaction record only where required by law (for example, tax records), with no information that identifies you.
